Crisalion Mobility Partners with Volatus for Advanced Air Mobility Projects

Crisalion Mobility, a Spanish provider of advanced electric mobility solutions, has partnered with Volatus Infrastructure & Energy Solutions to jointly develop and analyze advanced air mobility (AAM) projects. The collaboration will encompass various applications including cargo transport, emergency medical services (EMS), urban air mobility (UAM), regional air mobility (RAM), and tourism.

Objectives of the Partnership

The primary focus of the partnership is to study and enhance the integration of Crisalion’s Integrity eVTOL with VI&E Solutions’ vertiports. The teams will examine the necessary aspects for successful and efficient operations, aiming to improve the safety and efficiency of AAM operations. Grant Fisk, CEO of VI&E Solutions, emphasized their commitment to minimizing environmental impact and surpassing sustainability standards.

“We are excited to work with Crisalion so that we can analyze and study the interfaces between their Integrity eVTOL and our vertiport systems as well as develop strategies to minimize environmental impact and surpass sustainability standards to further reduce our environmental footprint,” Fisk said.

Strategic Importance

By leveraging the combined expertise of both companies, the partnership aims to set new standards for efficiency and sustainability in the industry. Óscar Lara, COO of Crisalion Mobility, expressed enthusiasm about the alliance, highlighting the importance of working with a key partner in vertiport infrastructure.

“We are very proud to start this alliance in the United States with a key partner in the world of vertiports and infrastructures that will accompany us in the implementation of our eVTOL solutions. The new mobility represents an ecosystem in which many players will be involved, and it is a privilege for us to work with Volatus,” Lara said.

Technological Integration and Development

The partnership will focus on developing a comprehensive understanding of how eVTOLs can be integrated into existing and future vertiport infrastructures. This includes studying the technical and logistical aspects of deploying eVTOLs for various applications. The collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.
