Hexagon | NovAtel has updated its NovAtel Application Suite to Version 2.0, incorporating the GRIT Monitor for real-time GNSS interference insights. This new feature is part of NovAtel’s GNSS Resilience and Integrity Technology (GRIT), which provides advanced RF interference detection and mitigation capabilities on all OEM7 GNSS receiver products.
The GRIT Monitor integrates several analytical tools into a single dashboard that simplifies the user interface and enhances operational efficiency. Key features include:
- Comprehensive Dashboard: Consolidates various monitoring tools, including the Mitigation Assistant, Spectrum Viewer, and Signal Matrix, to provide a unified view of the RF environment and satellite signals.
- Spectrum Viewer: Offers detailed views of the spectrum and waterfall for all GNSS constellations and frequency bands.
- Position Overview Map: Indicates the user’s location and identifies sources of interference.
The updated suite also introduces improvements to user interface, firmware compatibility, and extends support to include MarinePak among other enhancements. The Manage application, previously known as Setup & Monitor, now supports satellite tracking for L-Band and SBAS and offers a global map view of connected receivers.
Version 2.0 of the NovAtel Application Suite is designed to assist users in maintaining accurate GNSS positioning by quickly identifying and responding to RF interference. This update is targeted at industries that require precise location data, such as aerial mapping, agriculture, and autonomous vehicle navigation.
