Automated Vehicles Symposium 2018, driven by AUVSI and TRB, will take place July 9-12 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square in San Francisco, California. Brian Wynne, President and CEO, AUVSI, will deliver the Symposium Welcome on July 10 at 8 am.
A main focus of the event will be the challenges and opportunities for the deployment of on-road trucking automation on a global scale, including the feasibility of deployment in the near term.
One of the many sessions includes “Bridging the Automated Vehicle Gap: Consumer Trust, Technology and Liability” which takes place on July 10 and features Kristin Kolodge, Executive Director, Driver Interaction and Human, Machine Interface, J.D. Power; and Tina Georgieva, Senior Attorney, Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C.
