Anduril Introduces Pulsar-L: The Lightweight EW System for Rapid Deployment

Anduril Industries today announced Pulsar-L (Pulsar-Lite), the newest variant in the Pulsar family of software-defined Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) systems.

Built to deliver high-performance electromagnetic effects in a compact, portable design, Pulsar-L brings detect, ID, track, and defeat capabilities to the tactical edge — without the constraints that make many existing EW systems too rigid, manual, cumbersome, and threat-specific.

Pulsar-L strives to be the opposite: an adaptable platform ready-made to detect, ID, track, and defeat targets across a range of environments — a suite of capabilities rarely seen together in compact systems.

Pulsar-L is built for the warfighter, operating autonomously so that the user can keep their eyes on the battlefield. Easy to use, Pulsar-L doesn’t require high technical expertise or specialization. Instead, Anduril’s latest EW platform can be positioned in just 2 minutes, enabling a decisive EW shield before the fight even starts. Anduril is fielding two configurations of Pulsar-L: Airborne, designed for airborne EW missionsExpeditionary, built for every warfighter Pulsar-L is ready to operate right off the shelf, and can be deployed to a wide array of mission environments.

The system’s modular design allows for upgrades as technology evolves, ensuring that it will always have the necessary computing and processing advantage. Pulsar-L can be operated independently or integrated with Lattice. The system is compatible with other C2 and Common Operating Picture solutions, including TAK. Designed for both rapid deployment and long-term relevance, Pulsar-L is operating in the field today. This capability empowers users to stay ahead of evolving adversary tactics and avoid the obsolescence that plagues traditional systems. Anduril aspires to bring better, more, and faster EW solutions to the battlefield with PulsarL. The model can be produced at a rate of thousands of units annually, ensuring availability at scale for customers looking to bring superior EW options to a larger quantity of units.
