France-based Delair recently partnered with Frontier Precision and Seiler Instrument, both drone resellers and service providers, to expand its repair and maintenance operations to the United States.
Delair worked with both companies to certify them on the latest maintenance and repair processes for the Delair UX11 mapping and surveying drone, according to a news release. Both also have an inventory of parts and spares for the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) as well as the required tools to perform repair and maintenance on specific Delair drone models.
“It’s important that our customers in the U.S. have access to expert service and support so we can minimize down time when their drones require maintenance or repairs,” said Michael O’Sullivan, Delair channel sales manager North America. “Having a team of trained and qualified technicians like those from Seiler and Frontier Precision on the ground in the U.S. will ensure a more efficient service process and reduce the amount of time that our customers’ drones are out of operation due to either routine maintenance or damage from operations.”
Seiler Instrument has been a reseller of Delair drones for several years and operates a service and repair facility in St. Louis, where it will support the Delair UX11. Frontier Precision is a geospatial equipment distributor with service operations based in Minneapolis and Denver.
