DroneShield has announced the release of the Expeditionary Fixed-Site (EFS) Kit for its DroneSentry-X Mk2, a multi-mission Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) solution. The DroneSentry-X Mk2 is engineered for mobile and expeditionary use, featuring AI-driven detection, identification, and advanced electronic defeat capabilities. The new EFS Kit is designed to facilitate rapid deployment of the DroneSentry-X Mk2 across various operations, aiming to set a new standard for ease of use in tactical environments.

Key Features of the DroneSentry-X Mk2 EFS Kit:

1. AI-Powered Threat Detection: The system leverages advanced artificial intelligence to excel in detecting and identifying multi-domain UxS threats with high accuracy. This feature provides operators with crucial real-time intelligence.
2. Expeditionary Fixed Site Kit: Designed with operator feedback, the EFS Kit enhances the adaptability of the DroneSentry-X Mk2 for fixed-site or semi-permanent wide area operations. The kit is intuitive to deploy and versatile, suitable for a range of scenarios including mobile, reconnaissance, force protection, and base defense operations.
3. Tool-Less Mount and Installation: The kit features a tool-less mount and installation process, allowing for swift deployment and disassembly without specialized tools or training. This design enables tactical operators to set up and dismantle the system in less than 10 minutes.
4. Portable Battery Solution: It includes a portable battery solution to ensure uninterrupted operation in remote or temporary settings, enhancing the system’s mobility and reducing reliance on fixed power sources.

The DroneSentry-X Mk2 debuted in October at the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA 2023) in Washington, DC. Following months of customer feedback, the EFS Kit now expands the DroneSentry-X’s deployment options, allowing effective deployment of this integrated C-UAS solution in various settings.
